OVERVIEW

Re-Imagining Universal’s Historical Portfolio for a New Generation

After the successful relaunch of The Mummy in 2017, Universal realized the timelessness of their classic monster movie catalog. They approached my team and me looking for a way to entice and attract top Hollywood directors with the goal of elevating their other stories. 

So we partnered with the world’s most renown concept artists to reimagine what these stories could potentially look like, and created a book. The end result was an elegant coffee-table book featuring custom typefaces, gatefolds, spot varnishes, metallic inks and foils, all bound in fine book cloth with an embossed cover.
